Avoid contact with Water: Water is known to affect the appearance of metal, stones, crystals and pearls. It can wear plating and cause discolouration. Protect your jewels by removing rings to wash your hands and never wear any costume jewellery when you shower or swim. Have in mind, costume jewellery plating is usually thin and can eventually wear off, so be careful!

Never allow your fashion jewellery to come in contact with harsh chemicals, oils, nor spray perfumes directly on them. This will cause the jewellery to fade, discolour, or even ruin them completely. Keep It Safe: Costume jewellery items should be carefully stored in their individual boxes to avoid scratching, damage and to keep away from direct sunlight.
